In the middle of our Portsmouth stay we decided to splurge (well, our version of splurge) and go to Bath for a night. I was there years ago and knew that Jon would love it, Bath is such an elegant city. We payed for a room on the river, close to the train station with “lovely views.”

the view if you open the window and lean half of your body out. It was worth it, I love the weird head next to the beautiful bird.
